What was the highlight of Pearlmont Hotel

Food was delicious. Room was very nice.

The women at the check in counter are awful. Very scummy attitude and behavior. Forced me to spend money to get load on my phone to find my booking.com confirmation or she refused to give me my room reservation. The real reason was because she had already given my room to someone else. Tells my wife she will upgrade my room and then charges me extra money for the booking.com reservation which was already guaranteed and locked in with the credit card I provided. She also sold the phone load I need to pull up the confirmation on the phone, but she kept it a secret. Instead, she doesn't care and had me walking outside like a fool in the hot blazing sun looking for phone load when she had it the entire time. The guard informed me. Then she says her Internet connection is down, she doesn't have my booking.com info, refuses to allow me to check in, and then upgrades me to a deluxe and charges more money for the upgrade on my credit card. I think that's illegal? That's called bait and switch? Then next day, one of them calls me at 11 am to make sure I'm out of the hotel but checkout time is 12. I've never experienced this kind of ill behavior from a hotel staff before. Those people need to go back to hospitality school and get retrained and I'm very disgusted with the ill treatment and straight ghetto attitude from those check-in females. If I wanted to be treated like street trash, I would've checked into the cockroach infested 200p hotel on the other side of town with the prostitutes and drug addicts. That's where those females need to work, not at any hotel that wants to remain reputable.

The bed was comfy, the room has enough space, and the breakfast was good.

The lights outside the room/lobby at the second floor were too dim for taking good photos and it was kinda hot out there.

What was the highlight of Pearlmont Hotel

Staff are accomodating when you need something. Very approachable. We requested to be transerred to another room due to our room smells pesticide and we are glad that the staff attended to our demand immediately.

The room is clean but when we enter the whole place extremely smells like baygon. We opened the windows for the smell to subside but it did not. We called for housekeeping to do something but still the smell didnt come off. Underneath our bed some small cockroaches came out.

Breakfast has only 2 choices but that does make it more easy :-) I thought it was an old hotel and not that good but my room was very large and the bathroom was too and just fine. It is a place that brings enough quality for its price. As I always look for that.

Not every taxi driver knows how to find this place. When I invited friends for in the pool they tried to charge me TOO MUCH extra money for that...

Location.. But street noise was bothersome in our side of the hotel..

Cockroaches in the room. Limited breakfast choices. Airport shuttle should have been free for guests staying with the hotel. Not honoring Senior Citizen discount for non-booking-related expenses.

« When we walked into this hotel, I thought this place was built in the 50's. It is very well done in stained woods and moldings. I ask the staff how old the hotel was and I was told it was built in 2000! I was very surprised @ that answer. I will stay here again. Very nice. If you stay here, go to the roof where the pool is @ night and take a swim. Awesome! »

Nothing was likeable.The hotel was too crowded with many people coming in and going out because of the many functions going on on at the hotel. I made my booking at booking.com and it turned out to be more expensive since we were not able to avail our Senior Citizen benefit discounts. I was advised that it would have been cheaper for us should we had booked directly with the hotel.in the future, I will never book again through Booking.com.

Hotel staffs are approachable and friendly. Nice ambience.

It was our first time to stay at Pearlmont. I booked our reservation online. Small comment on the receptionist who assisted us while checking in. She informed us about our room was upgraded from standard to deluxe and we will pay the amount of 1400php only which is the standard room rate but she told us same price also for deluxe room, so my husband and I picked the deluxe room instead since its the same price with the standard room as we were upgraded. Following day we checked out then morning shift receptionist told us the concern about the amount we paid for our room. It was suppose to be 1700php not 1400php. We did not hestitate to pay the extra balance for we know mistakes happen. I understand the incident coz the field of my job abroad is in line about customer service. But room rates and upgrade info should not be mistakenly addressed to guests. It should be explained correctly to avoid complaints. The room was clean enough but small cockroaches can be seen in the room and toilet walls. Which it bothers me and my husband for it might enter our ears while sleeping without noticing it. But over all it was a nice place to stay. Just do something about the small mistakes we noticed to improve the hotel’s reputation and image. We will definitely be coming back again. More power to the management.

My wife and I enjoyed some great food at very reasonable prices. The wait staff served us with great attention and pride. WE could not use all 11 nights but the staff made arrangements for 'family' to use 3 days by end of year. Rooftop Deck was awesome.

friendly staff at front desk and restaurant nice food

breakfast was limited choice each day flying ants in our room that im sure was nesting somewhere bed was broken everything just seemed old and never replaced for the past 10 years bathroom was filthy ac was extremely noisy a light fixture burnt out and made all the lights flicker there idea to fix it remove the bulb and just left the room with burning smell its over priced for what it is

What was the highlight of Pearlmont Hotel

The food is excellent. Although it would be nice if there would be choices like food for two persons available on the menu. The servings are usually good for 3-4 persons and we usually end up with some leftovers for the next meal.

During our stay some dirty dishes were left outside the rooms on the aisles by some guests and it took a little while for the staff to clean them up.

We stayed in a family room of 3, and it's too big enough for 3, it can accommodate up to 6 persons.

Not really didn't like but they can improve the breakfast.
